Dr Guillaume Aimetti
Dr Guillaume Aimetti received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Sheffield in 2011 and then developed data collection solutions for analyzing consumer behavior on mobile platforms, and then joined Deloitte as senior data scientist, with a particular focus on cloud-based technologies offering analytics as a service.
He co-founded Inspirient GmbH in 2016, and now applies his deep expertise in statistics, advanced analytics and machine learning to democratize advanced pattern detection. His award-winning algorithmic approaches have helped a leading market/opinion research company to ensure all data quality issues are reliably identified before shipping results to clients.
Jonas Andrulis is Founder and CEO of the Heidelberg AI R&D Start-Up Aleph Alpha. He received his engineering degree from KIT in Karlsruhe focusing on artificial intelligence and modelling. He is a serial entrepreneur successfully starting three AI software companies. From 2016 on he was senior AI R&D manager at Apple’s Special Projects Group (SPG). In his career he has been building diverse innovations at the forefront of the development towards transformative AI. This resulted in experiences from innovative academic experiments to building and operating petabyte machine learning pipelines for computer vision, language processing and strategy models.
Martin Aussenhof is a Senior Solutions Engineer for the EMEA region. He supports potential customers to evaluate Sisense’s products and advises on modern BI and data landscapes. With over twelve years of experience in the information technology sector, including being a Director of Technical Services of a start-up and a freelance ETL developer, he facilitates his experience to help customers find success through BI technologies. In his past time, he enjoys tending to his garden, listening to punk music, and hosting a local pub quiz.
An applied Mathematician by training, he started being interested in Machine Learning while working on his PhD thesis in model reduction for complex systems at FU Berlin. Ralf Banisch has eight years of experience in the field and has seen broad adoptions of AI solutions for many applications, but also several significant challenges. At Mindpeak GmbH, he focuses on the design and development of deep Machine Learning systems for cell level diagnostic tasks on histopathological images.
Maria Barros Weiss
Maria Barros Weiss (Ph.D.) is Head of Research Digital Ecosystems at IONOS. Her responsibilities include R&D project collaborations on cloud-edge continuum digital ecosystems, building an IoT cloud stack, European and national funding programs, and Associations. Since 2019, she has been an external expert for the European Commission.
With more than 20 years of work experience, Maria Barros Weiss brings expertise in digital ecosystems as well as communication networks, and has been involved in several ICT areas, such as Data-ecosystems, 5G, Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing. After finishing a master’s degree in Computers and Electrical Engineering she gained a Ph.D. in Communications and Language technologies, starting her career as a lecturer in engineering in Portugal, of programming languages, digital electronics and embedded systems. Before she joined IONOS, she was program coordinator of the international funding program Eureka Celtic-Next and was in charge of international project coordination and management roles.
Sebastian Baumann studied Mechanical and Process Engineering with emphases in turbomachinery and aerospace at TU Darmstadt. He worked as a research associate at the institute of flight systems and automatic control. Within his doctorate, Sebastian Baumann focuses on data analyses of flight data recordings and flight operational data by the use and advancement of machine learning algorithms in the field of artificial intelligence for digital twins of aircraft. The main emphasis of his work is an economic technology assessment and system operation with smart decision support systems and decision automation for maintenance, repair, and overhaul. As a founder and managing director he establishes DATAbility as the company for decision support and shapes the market for applicable AI solutions in industry.
Sheila Beladinejad is the founder and CEO of O Canada Tech & President of Women in AI & Robotics.
As a software engineer with a degree in Computer Science & Industrial Engineering and over 20 years of experience in technology, she has worked on major initiatives in the telecommunication industry and is responsible for launching new products and services at a global level.
Additionally, Sheila has expertise in conducting technical due diligence during the Merger and Acquisition process for investors. She helps Private Equity firms and Venture Capitalists evaluate the software side of the target companies of interest and provide risk mitigation assessments, often including a post-closure technical roadmap. She has worked on multi-million-dollar acquisitions in Europe, Canada, and the United States, evaluating and assessing the target companies' artificial intelligence, software architecture, infrastructure, and scalability.
As the President of the Women in AI & Robotics, Sheila has committed to reducing the gender gap in AI & Robotics at the UN Women's Generation Equality Forum on a personal level and on behalf of Women in AI & Robotics. Sheila is dedicated to increasing women's representation in AI & Robotics through building a strong network of support from experts in our communities, advocacy, education, mentorship, hackathons and startup accelerator programs.
Achim Berg represents the largest German mobility platform Flixbus as chairman of the advisory board at Bitkom. Previously, Berg was Chairman of Arvato´s Executive Board and Bertelsmann´s Executive Board, held senior management positions at Microsoft headquarters in Seattle and managed Microsoft´s operations in Germany. Initially as General Manager Microsoft Germany and Area Vice President Microsoft International, he was appointed to the US corporate headquarters as Corporate Vice President for the Windows Phone Division. In this role, he led the Windows Phone business and its associated services, and later became responsible for the Operator Channels division to work with mobile operators, cable and media companies, consumers and businesses of all sizes to deliver innovative solutions.

From 1999 to 2001, Achim Berg held the position of CEO of Fujitsu Siemens Computers GmbH. Between 1995 and 1999, he held senior sales management positions at Dell Deutschland GmbH, most recently as director of the computer manufacturers SME business. Achim Berg made his first career steps between 1989 and 1994 in various sales functions at Bull AG in Cologne. Achim Berg graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Cologne in 1989 with a degree in computer science. He also completed the European Potential Management Program at the European Economic School EAP, Paris, London, Madrid, Rome and Berlin.

Christina Busmalis is Director at Google Cloud responsible for the Life Science Industry go to market in EMEA. Christina is a technology enthusiast and has focused her career on identifying and leveraging disruptive technologies to address complex business challenges across the life sciences value chain. Previously she was at IBM Watson Health as the Global Life Sciences go-to-market leader in Europe & Asia Pac. Before this role Christina was the IBM Global Industry Technical Leader for the Life Science Industry and Director of Technology for the IBM account team with Novartis. She has over 28 years of executive leadership, consulting, business development and project management expertise across Europe, US, and Asian markets and is based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Alexander Dean is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Snowplow Analytics. Dr Alexander Friedenberger
Dr. Alexander Friedenberger has been working as an Educational Data Scientist at StackFuel since 2019. He is a former research associate at Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. Alexander holds a PhD in theoretical and mathematical physics and completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in physics at the Free University of Berlin. Being responsible for the course development of several innovative and hands-on online courses, Alexander is also the instructor for StackFuel's Deep Learning and the Data Driven Management upskilling courses.
Carsten Fritsch works as lead architect for the Data Intelligence Center in the department of the Chief Digital Officer of Deutsche Bahn group. He guides the development of Deutsche Bahn’s technical data ecosystem by designing its architecture from an overarching group-perspective and providing guardrails for implementation of data systems in the group’s companies. He leads Deutsche Bahn’s efforts to follow the Data Mesh methodology.
Prior to Deutsche Bahn, he was as a senior consultant and IT architect for Deloitte, where he supported leading corporations across multiple industries in their big data initiatives, by implementing Hadoop platforms or advising on big data strategy.
Dr Bernd Geiger
Bernd Geiger studied physics at the TU Berlin, Eastern Michigan University and the University of Heidelberg, where he received his diploma and doctorate in natural sciences. He worked for five years at the German Cancer Research Center with Nobel Laureate Prof. Harald zur Hausen and "serial entrepreneur" Prof. Josef Bille. Bernd Geiger specialized in semantic image processing and algorithmic systems.
After the takeover by Leica, Bernd was responsible for the development of a new generation of laser scanning microscopes at the university spin-off Heidelberg Instruments. After another tenure at Carl Zeiss Jena with a focus on production outsourcing to China, Bernd and partners launched several venture capital funds, amongst others with European Space Agency (ESA), to invest in research spin-offs. One focus was early stage investments in the area of semantics, e.g. Attensity (bought by Aeris Capital), intelligent views (bought by Empolis) and Ontoprise.
Ontoprise, now semafora systems was taken over by Bernd as chief developer and managing director and develops hybrid symbolic/statistical AI systems for the automatic extraction of facts and rules (so-called active ontologies). Active ontologies are used to increase the efficiency of highly complex knowledge processes such as the automatic comparison of technical norms, patents, contracts, etc.
Florens Greßner is a mathematician dedicated to statistics and optimization. After delving into the abstracts of academic mathematics, he realized that Machine Learning applications suffer from deep mathematical understanding and a targeted approach towards minimizing risk.
When he was 22, he co-founded neurocat to help industry assess risk, robustness and understanding of Machine Learning systems. Since August 2017, Andreas Hartl has been head of Division KI 1 (Artificial Intelligence, Data Economy, Blockchain) at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The unit deals with economic and digital policy aspects of artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, open data policy and other issues of the data economy. Among other things, it is responsible for the Artificial Intelligence Strategy and the Federal Government's Blockchain Strategy. The department is responsible for the EU Data Governance Act and (together with the Federal Ministry of Justice) for the EU Regulation on Artificial Intelligence. It is also the coordinator for the EU's Free Flow of Data Regulation and is in charge of transposing the Open Data and PSI Directives into national law.Andreas Hartl studied law at the University of Marburg and passed the Second State Examination in Law in 2004. From 2004 to 2011, he worked at the Federal Network Agency. At the beginning of 2012, he moved to the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), where he worked until August 2017 as a consultant for fundamental issues in telecommunications as well as competition and regulatory issues in digitalisation. There, he supervised, among other things, the preparation of first the Green Paper and in 2017 the White Paper on Digital Platforms.

Dr Tobias Heimann
Tobias Heimann studied medical informatics at the University of Heidelberg and earned his doctorate in medical image data analysis at the German Cancer Research Center DKFZ. Since 2016, he has headed the Artificial Intelligence Germany team at Siemens Healthineers. Together with his colleagues, he is researching the potential of digital technologies for tomorrow's healthcare, from artificial intelligence to support radiology to digital twins for decision support in personalized medicine. The technologies developed by the team have already been translated into a variety of innovative Siemens Healthineers products and support physicians worldwide in treating their patients.

Dr Werner Kraus
Dr. Werner Kraus received his degree as Diplom-Ingenieur in mechanical engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2011. Since then, he has been with Fraunhofer IPA in different positions and received his PhD on force-control of cable-driven parallel robots in 2015 from the University of Stuttgart. Since June 2019, he is head of the department robot and assistive systems. With a team of 70 colleagues, he is researching and implementing latest robot technologies in industry like for bin picking, small lot size welding, autonomous mobile robots and assembly automation as well as for the service sector, care applications, retail, or agricultural robotics. Since 2019, he has been member in the board of directors of euRobotics, co-chair of IFR service robot working group as well as member of the scientific advisory board at Flanders MAKE.

Lukas Lötters is a Senior Data Scientist at Oraylis GmbH. He advises clients on the evaluation and implementation of machine learning solutions and the development of AI strategies. He brings experience from various industries from retail, energy, industry to public administration. In addition, he has many years of experience in building Microsoft-based BI and self-service BI systems cloud or on-premise and is still active as a trainer and consultant in the field.
Dr Stefano Lottini

My past work experiences include teaching at all levels (where I could hone my communication skills), research in theoretical/computational physics (I hold a Ph.D. in physics), and extensive work as data engineer and head of software architecture at a startup focused on trend detection.

Dr Simon Lucas
Simon is Lead Expert Bioethics and Digital Ethics at Merck KGaA. The goal of Merck’s Bioethics and Digital Ethics unit is to resolve ethical questions arising from leading-edge science and technology innovations and enable the company to operate responsibly by adhering to rigorous ethical standards. Simon joined Merck in 2018 from Evonik's corporate innovation strategy unit and prior to that held various R&D positions at Grünenthal and Boehringer Ingelheim. At Merck, he worked as a program manager in Group Strategy & Transformation before transitioning into his current role. Simon studied chemistry and bioethics in Munich, Saarbrücken and Mainz and holds a PhD in medicinal chemistry. After postdoctoral stays at the University of Copenhagen and the Helmholtz Center for Infection Research, he began his career in the pharmaceutical industry in 2010.
Riley MacDonald is an experienced Senior Solution Architect specialized in data analytics. He is focused on helping people, companies and organizations extract insights from their raw data.
Klaas Mertens joined Equinix in 2014 as a Global Solutions Architect, advising customers and prospects on solutions and services related to the various digital ecosystems at Equinix. Prior to joining Equinix, Klaas was responsible for designing worldwide networks and related IT services for several global network providers. Today, he focuses on the requirements of IoT systems, Big Data & AI, mobility solutions with a special focus on Data Gravity and Data Marketplaces.
Vanessa Müller studied at TU Dortmund University and completed her doctorate there in 2019 in the field of experimental particle physics. During this time, she conducted research at CERN in Geneva on one of the large experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the LHCb experiment, on the causes of a universe dominated by matter today.
Since 2018, she has been working as a Data Scientist at Point 8 GmbH in Dortmund and, among other things, manages projects in the areas of "Industry 4.0" and "Predictive Maintenance", with a focus on customers from the mechanical and plant engineering sector, including Schwäbische Werkzeugmaschinen and Siemens.
Fabian is a passionate expert in Data Science & AI with over 10 years of experience in the field. In his role as COO, Fabian is orchestrating the end-to-end delivery of all Data Science & AI projects at statworx. Dr Claus Neubauer
Dr. Claus Neubauer is Principal Key Expert – Artificial Intelligence at the Digital Enterprise Lab of Siemens Digital Industries, Process Automation. His focus is on applying state of the art data analytics and machine learning methods to monitoring, diagnosis and decision support in the process industry. Claus spent 12 years at Siemens Corporate Research, Princeton, USA, as program manager for Intelligent Data Analytics and Modeling, leading research and development in the field of pattern recognition and machine learning with applications to computer vision and remote condition monitoring of power plants. Claus is physicist with a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering. He has over 20 publications and 30 patents granted.
Dr Hana Niederbrucker
Hana Niederbrucker received her master’s degree in Computer Science at the Charles University in Prague and her PhD in Scientific Computing at the University of Vienna. After collecting working experience in the fields of information security, algorithm development and data analysis, she started as AI Product Manager in Corporate IT at ZF Friedrichshafen AG. Her current focus is on developing a solution for Connected computer vision and AI-based quality inspection at scale.
Julius Otto joined AllCloud in 2020 as Presales Manager Data. He develops machine learning solutions for industrial customers, e.g. in the area of quality assurance through automated image recognition or for predictive maintenance of machines. Previously, he worked as a Data Scientist at Deloitte, where he set up data lakes for pharmaceutical clients in various AI projects, created text recognition solutions for banks, and developed a demand forecasting system for a fast food company, among others. Julius Otto studied physics at the University of Bayreuth and the Free University of Berlin and graduated with a thesis on laser pulse shaping.
Jochen Papenbrock has spent the last 15 years in various roles on the topic of AI in Financial Services, as a thought leader, implementer, researcher, and ecosystem shaper. He is a financial data scientist and received his degree and Ph.D. from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). As a consultant, entrepreneur, and researcher he worked with well-known asset managers, banks, insurance companies, and central banks. He is a manager at NVIDIA and works with partners, communities, and developers in financial services in Europe and also in some global teams. Jochen is a board member of the EU Horizon 2020 project ‘FIN-TECH’, specialty chief Co-Editor at Frontiers ‘AI in Finance’, and project leader in GAIA-X. Dr Julius Pfrommer heads a research group at Fraunhofer IOSB solving "hard AI problems" in both industry and academia. He is furthermore the scientific director of the Competence Center for AI Systems Engineering (CC-KING) and holds an appointment at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) for his course on convex optimization for machine learning and engineering.
Dr Waqaas Rehman
Waqaas Rehman is Business Development Lead at InstaDeep, helping enterprises adopt the latest AI breakthroughs and deploy them to improve efficiency and ROI. Robin Röhm is the co-founder and CEO of Apheris, a platform for federated and privacy preserving data science on sensitive data. Dr Tanja Rueckert
Tanja Rueckert has been Chief Digital Officer of the Bosch Group since July 2021. She holds a PhD in chemistry and has over 20 years of experience as an executive in the software and building technology industry, having held various positions in Germany as well as in the United States, including Silicon Valley. Before she took over as CDO, Ms. Rueckert was CEO of the Bosch Building Technologies division. Until Ms. Rueckert joined Robert Bosch GmbH in August 2018, she headed the IoT and Digital Supply Chain business unit at SAP SE. Ms. Rueckert sits on the steering committees of the Digital Trust Forum as well as the Carnegie Bosch Institute. She is a member of the steering committee of the “Plattform Learning Systems”, a member of the board of Bitkom e. V. and the Muenchner Kreis. She is also part of the supervisory boards of Capgemini, Bosch Rexroth and BSH Household Appliances.
Prof. Dr. Ahmad-Reza Sadeghi
Ahmad-Reza Sadeghi is a professor of Computer Science and the head of the System Security Lab at Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. He has been leading several Collaborative Research Labs with Intel since 2012, and with Huawei since 2019. He has studied both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Saarland, Germany. Prior to academia, he worked in R&D of IT-enterprises, including Ericsson Telecommunications. He has been continuously contributing to security and privacy research field. He was Editor-In-Chief of IEEE Security and Privacy Magazine, and currently serves on the editorial board of ACM TODAES, ACM TIOT, and ACM DTRAP. For his influential research on Trusted and Trustworthy Computing he received the renowned German “Karl Heinz Beckurts” award. This award honors excellent scientific achievements with high impact on industrial innovations in Germany. In 2018, he received the ACM SIGSAC Outstanding Contributions Award for dedicated research, education, and management leadership in the security community and for pioneering contributions in content protection, mobile security and hardware-assisted security. In 2021, he was honored with Intel Academic Leadership Award at USENIX Security conference for his influential research on cybersecurity and in particular on hardware-assisted security.
Florian Schaudel is a Partner and Managing Director at Accenture, where he is responsible for data-driven transformation consulting services across Europe. After his degree in mathematics and a PhD in engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where he researched the usage of data in automated decision systems, he started his career in strategy consulting. During 20 years of serving clients primarily in the healthcare, life sciences and financial services industries, he experienced the power of data and analytics not only to punctually improve individual processes, but to transform entire organisations and industries. Therefore, his current focus is on helping companies unlock the true value of data by taking a holistic approach that goes beyond individual use cases.
Andreas Schleiter is the responsible Partner for AI+Data in Insurance within Deloitte Germany. Sebastian Schlosser is Head of Digital Policies for the BMW Group with broad experience in digital initiatives within the automotive industry. Prof. Dr. Christoph Schlueter Langdon
As Data & Operations Director for European Markets, Hubs and Partnerships Martin Schniedermeier is responsible for Data and Operations for European markets for Kantar Public. He is additional acting as Global capability director for transformation leading Public’s work to drive efficiency and optimization, covering innovation approaches for modes, surveys, panels and studies.
Martin started his professional career working in mines as a geologist. In 2001 he moved above ground to Nielsen, where he spent 18 years starting as a modelling analyst and ending up as COO for Benelux, DACH and Nordics. Martin’s scope covers modelling, consulting, process improvement, Deep Learning and operations. In 2019 Martin decided to use his knowledge and experience to support Health Market Research evaluate launching in Germany by designing operational and data structures, business models, partnerships and capability needs. Martin joined Kantar Public in April 2021.
Dr Christian Stephan
Dr Christian Stephan has been leading the growth of the CentraXX system at KAIROS GmbH as managing director since 2012. As a habilitated bioinformatician, he initially performed research in neurology at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf for more than five years before taking over the management of the Bioinformatics/Biostatistics working group of the Medical Proteome Center at the Ruhr University in Bochum for more than eight years. Besides, in his position as a graduate private lecturer, he holds his lectureship at the Medical Faculty of the Ruhr University in Bochum.
Therefore, Dr. Stephan ideally combines the converging worlds of biomedical research and bioinformatics practice. Thanks to his extensive experience in national and international research and industrial projects, PD Dr. Christian Stephan is able to communicate in the language of the attending and researching physicians as well as in the language of the software experts at the customer's site and their industrial partners.
Dr Nina Stumme
Nina Stumme is Head of Data Management and Analytics at DB Netz AG, Deutsche Bahn’s rail infrastructure company.
Her interdisciplinary team of DB internal and external experts deals with data & analytics topics in the fields of construction, maintenance, and operations.
In the past two years, Nina has kickstarted numerous activities ranging from developing a data and analytics cloud platform, creating the data foundation for sustainable business solutions, implementing innovative Analytics & AI products to establishing an overarching data governance for DB Netz AG.
Nina holds a PhD in Mathematics and has worked in various areas of Deutsche Bahn, always bridging the gap between business needs and technology offerings.
Frank Theisen heads the IBM Technology DACH business unit for the markets Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this role, he is responsible for hardware and software, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud solutions, the IBM public cloud, as well as data & AI, security solutions and SaaS, including sales, services and the partner ecosystem. With over twenty-five years of experience in the IT solutions business, his extensive research and development expertise in data and AI technologies, as well as the cloud solutions portfolio, he supports clients in driving digital transformation in the company, strengthening competitiveness in the market and integrating innovative technologies at the same time.
Dr Thomas Thiele
Dr Thomas Thiele has been with Deutsche Bahn since 2018. His areas of expertise include the development and implementation of AI-relevant topics within the company as a whole. He coordinates the House of AI of Deutsche Bahn and the company wide AI Governance. Prior to this, Mr. Thiele worked at the Cybernetics Lab at RWTH Aachen University as Head of the Production Technology Research Group.
Dr Christian Thun
Dr. Christian Thun is the CEO of European DataWarehouse (EDW), the first securitisation data repository in the world. EDW was established in 2012 and has collected information on more than 100 million loans with billions of individual data points in its ten years of existence. Dr. Thun joined EDW as its managing director in 2016. Before joining EDW he held senior positions with Moody’s Analytics as well as in consulting and structured finance in Frankfurt and London.
Taner is the co-founder and COO of Adap. Before that, he worked as Director of Engineering at XAIN AG and as the CTO of mojoreads. Since 2013 he has hired and built highly successful international engineering teams in three prior companies to Adap. Taner has a background in Electrical Engineering and is currently a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge where he collaborates in machine learning research.
In the last years, Anja Vedder has applied her organisational skills and sales talent in providing the process industry with state-of-the-art condition monitoring solutions for condition-based maintenance and performance optimisation.
She has more than 10 years experience, in the end as Head of Operations Europe, in sales and aftersales for turbomachinery at a renowned manufacturer of large rotating equipment such as compressors and turbines.
Phil leads the risk, security, compliance, and privacy teams for Google Cloud. Prior to joining Google Cloud, Phil was a Partner at Goldman Sachs where he held multiple roles over a long career, initially as their first Chief Information Security Officer, a role he held for 17 years. Before Goldman Sachs, Phil held multiple CISO roles as well as senior engineering roles across a range of finance, energy and technology companies.
Phil earned a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of York and an MSc in Computation and Cryptography from the Queen’s College at Oxford University.
Christiane von Flotow
Marcus is AI Expert and Intelligence Architect at Birds on Mars. Before he was a Research Associate at the DAI-Lab at TU Berlin, where he led the research group "Smart Energy Systems." He is a guest lecturer on AI and data science at TU Berlin and CODE University of Applied Sciences. He volunteers as Community Lead for Buildings & Transport at Climate Change AI, an international organization bringing together researchers and practitioners in machine learning for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Dr Sebastian Werner
Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Werner, born 1981, is an AI Evangelist and Principal Strategist at Dataiku based in Munich, Germany. He has gained broad experience at the intersection of industrial analytics, information technology, and shopfloor reality in continuous manufacturing. As a chemical engineer by training, he completed a PhD in 2011 in chemical reaction engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg focusing on first-principle simulations. During a PostDoc at UC Berkeley he extended his scope to large-scale data analysis and data-driven methods. In 2014, he joined Clariant AG as R&D group leader and global expert on modeling of chemical processes. Subsequently he took over corporate digitalization strategy and led efforts to create a data platform for manufacturing data and set up the transformation roadmap. Starting in 2017, he served as managing director and CTO of Navigance GmbH, a Clariant spin-off focused on offering data-driven optimization as a service for the chemical industry and helped to scale the business from zero to seven-digit revenue. In his current role he also serves on the board of BITKOM BigData working group and on the program committee for BigData AI summit as well as AICHE annual conference.
Martin Whyte is a Partner in PwC’s technology consulting practice and is leading the Digital Operations Data & Analytics team. He has more than 16 years experience in the area of Data & Analytics and is an expert in data-driven-transformations.He has a proven track record in mid- and large scale projects and programs with hands-on experience in data strategy, data architecture and implementation of use-cases.
Tatjana Wiebusch is a director in Deloitte’s AI&Data practice. Since 2003 Tatjana and her team support clients especially in the Energy and Utilities sector on their Analytics and Digital Transformation journeys. As an expert in leading large scale transformation programs Tatjana is able to support her clients bringing the digital transformation of the organization life and operationalize strategic visions and concepts into concrete programs that realize the planned value for the organization.
Svea Windwehr is a Senior Government Affairs & Public Policy Analyst at Google in Berlin, where she focuses on content regulation, platform governance, and AI policy. Before joining Google, Svea was a Mercator Fellow and spent her fellowship year working at the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the German Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Previously, she worked as a policy officer at the European Commission’s digital policy Directorate-General. She is a 2022 Transatlantic Digital Debates fellow. Svea studied international relations, political science, and law in Maastricht and Berkeley and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford’s Internet Institute.
Dr Georg Wittenburg
Dr Georg Wittenburg founded Inspirient after five years of ICT research and three years as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He wholeheartedly disagrees with software “eating the world”, mostly on the precedents that the wheel, the steam engine, and the calculator didn’t develop a taste for the world either. Instead, he’s looking forward to the new possibilities that Artificial Intelligence will add to humanity’s tool chest, and to the great things we’ll all get to do once this transition is done.
Georg studied Computer Science and Business Administration in Berlin and Vancouver. He received his PhD (“summa cum laude”) from Freie Universität Berlin in 2010, and subsequently conducted research in topics including distributed systems, pattern recognition, and the Internet of Things at INRIA Paris-Saclay. He started working at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 2012 and advised international corporations in the logistics, automotive, and media sectors. From 2013 to 2014, he was selected to join the BCG Henderson Institute, the firm’s think tank to push the envelope on business strategy, and worked on topics including innovation strategy and organizational algorithmics. Georg kicked off Inspirient in the summer of 2014 and is now serving as Inspirient’s CEO.
Dr Feiyu Xu
Dr Xu is responsible for the SAP AI strategy and its implementation. The major goal of the SAP enterprise AI strategy is to infuse AI into business processes to support companies, namely, our customers in becoming intelligent enterprises.
Dr Xu has broad experience in the total cycle of AI: from research, to AI development, to productization and commercialization. Before she came to SAP in 2020, I was VP, Head of AI Lab at Lenovo, built up the Lenovo AI technology roadmap and its implementation. From 2017 to 2020, she was based in Beijing.
Before 2017, she was Principal Researcher of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). During her 20 years at DFKI, Dr. Xu co-founded and managed a spin-off company of DFKI in mobile multilingual digital assistants.
Dr Thomas Zwack
Dr. Thomas Zwack has more than 25 years of experience in managing and implementing strategic projects, transformation programs, implementing new technologies (AI, Blockchain, P2P) and developing new business models. To date, he has worked for large insurance companies in Germany, Europe and North America. He is a partner at the consulting firm TRUSTEQ (www.trusteq.de), based in Cologne, Germany.
He studied computer science at TU Munich and received his PhD in innovative business models for insurance at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Thomas lives with his family in Berlin.
